1. Data Collection

Cold Wave does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All data you create within the app — including session records, duration, temperature logs, mood entries, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage.

We have no access to your data. We cannot see it, retrieve it, or share it. If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device.

2. Microphone Access

Cold Wave requests access to your device's audio system solely to play motivational sound alerts when you reach your session goal. The app does not use your microphone to record audio. No audio is captured, stored, or transmitted at any time.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Cold Wave Premium subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple App Store and Google Play. All payment information is handled by these platforms according to their respective privacy policies. Cold Wave never receives, stores, or processes payment card information.

Subscription status is verified through RevenueCat, which may receive an anonymised device identifier to validate your purchase. No personally identifiable information is shared with RevenueCat.

4. Analytics & Tracking

Cold Wave contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics tools, no crash reporting services, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.

5. Children's Privacy

Cold Wave is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
